The National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV) has worked for thirty-one years to end violence against women by raising awareness and educating the public about the effects of domestic abuse.

Our work includes developing and sustaining ground-breaking public policy at the national level; developing and providing free resources and effective trainings; and assisting the 2,000+ urban and rural shelters and programs at the local, state, and regional levels in the programming they offer to victims seeking safety and assistance.

Membership with NCADV provides:

  • critical programming aimed at creating laws and legislation at the national level that help victims of domestic violence obtain and sustain safety;
  • trainings and conferences aimed at furthering the most cutting-edge and effective responses to serving victims of domestic violence; and,
  • assistance to victims of domestic violence through such programs as NCADV’s Hope and Power for Financial Empowerment, our Job Skill and Employment Readiness trainings, and our Protective Parents Resource Center (currently in the final stages of development).
