Voters’ Choice Update – Week 5 – Shake-Up in the Standings!

As we cruised past 5,000 votes in our poll, we saw some big changes in the standings. With the campaign extended to June 30, we are definitely on track to meet or exceed our goal of 10,000 votes! Thanks to everyone who has voted so far.

Please remember to sign the petition when you vote. If he wins, your favourite actor will see the petition and the more names on it, the more impressed he will be!

The race is coming down to three men. Jake Gyllenhaal is starting to put some pressure on our leader, Alexander Skarsgard, whose support has declined for the third straight week. Hugh Jackman’s numbers also went down a bit more this week.

Here are results of the poll, as of Friday, June 18, 2010, 7AM EST. Percentages represent each nominee’s share of the total vote. Last week’s numbers are in parentheses:

• Alexander Skarsgard – 32.5% (35.6%)
• Jake Gyllenhaal – 26.3% (21.2%)
• Hugh Jackman – 20.8 % (23.7%)
• David Tennant – 14.3% (13.7%)
• Will Smith – 6.2% (5.9%)
