Contours Express

For the first time in history WAO is working with an all-women’s gym in raising public awareness and funds for the organization. This year Contours Express is running a fundraiser for us by donating part of the proceeds from their merchandise sales. T-shirts, headbands, gym bags, even socks are just some of the stuff up for grabs. So not only will you be purchasing items to help you stay healthy, you’ll also be helping others in great need. mYCauses

Here’s a quick and easy way to spread public awareness or to donate to Women’s Aid Organisation. Log onto www.mYcauses.com.my and look for our organization’s badge, pictured at left.

We have collaborated with mYcauses to design a personalized badge for our organisation that headlines clear information through pictures, text and video. This badge includes a “Call to Action” button that provides a simple click through link to donate immediately via bank transfer or credit card. It also allows any number of sponsors to buy ads to show support for their chosen cause. This badge can be posted on blogs, websites and social networking sites thus reaching vast user demographics. You gotta love technology!

Media on the Move (M.O.M.)

We’re also broadcasting our messages audio-visually to the public via TV screens in taxis. That’s right, riding in taxis now is going to bring you more than just your preferred destination, it’s going to bring you public and social awareness too! Citymedia has launched the “Media on the Move” (M.O.M) campaign to raise awareness about Women’s Aid Organisation. Ninety taxis have already been outfitted with customized TV screens and more are on the way. We hope to reach a bigger and broader range of citizens from all walks of life through this campaign.
